Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso is counting down the days until his final home game in charge this Sunday before he leaves the club at the end of the season.

Alonso has confirmed he will leave Leverkusen at the end of the season and this weekend’s home game against Borussia Dortmund will be his last in charge at the Bay Arena before the season-ending trip to Hoffenheim next week.
“I have mixed feelings, it’s going to be a เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง very emotional time,” the Spaniard said ahead of Sunday’s game. “I want to enjoy the last two games and I’m looking forward to having a great time with the fans here on Sunday.”
“This is where I became the coach I am now. The club has a lot of faith in me.”
“The first season is always the hardest. Our position was not easy and I learned a lot. Then we had a historic season together. We experienced great games and memorable nights together. This season is a season with even more expectations.”
“The most emotional moment for me here was winning the DFB-Pokal. I was very stressed. I wanted to finish the season well after the Europa League final in Dublin (losing 0-3 to Atalanta). It was a perfect end to the season. I will never forget my time at Bayer 04.”
Spanish media reported that Alonso has agreed to take over at Real Madrid next season on a three-year contract, replacing Carlo Ancelotti.
